cos <br />reoommended that the building inspector keep such plans in a <br />permanent Pile. <br />Barthol Villa Reichow reported receiving request for a building permit from <br />building the owner of Lot 25, Barthol Villa, and referred to a previous <br />permit order e~ethe council that no permits be issued for the construction <br />of new homes in Barthol Villa where such lots are a part of the <br />natural water way. After disnusaivn, the following resolution was <br />moved by Henry, seconded by Shavor and adopted: <br />Resolution RESOLVED, that the building inspector be authorized to issue a <br />building permit for Lot 25, Barthol Villa, if upon examination by <br />the Building Inspector and Trustee Rekstad it appears that this <br />lot can be built on without interfering with the natural drainage. <br />Proposed changes Reiahow submitted copies oP a memo covering proposed changes in <br />in building code. the building code. After consideration, Stewart moved that <br />Shavor and Rekstad be appointed as a committee to study the <br />proposed revisions and to bring fn their recommendations at the <br />next meeting. Henry seconded and motion oarried. <br />Town of Rose Lynn ldatteson, Town Board Chairman, appeared before the council <br />property settle- and reported that the old Town Board suggested that a settlement <br />ment with Village be made with the Village of Roseville on the old Town Hall on the <br />of Roseville. bnais of X6,700.00, if Roseville will waive any charges for the <br />use of the hall to Faloon Heights, the Town Board in turn waiving <br />any claim to prepaid insurance - the. personal property to be <br />settled as per agreement of ~Barch 10, 1950. Stewart moved <br />approval of acid proposed settlement, seconded by Rekstad and <br />carried. <br />Liability of Attorney Graham reported on Fire Chief Swanson's inquiry as to <br />Fireman liability of a fireman traveling to a fire for negligence in <br />caee of an acoident, stating that the fireman was individually <br />liable for negligence but that the insurance carried by the <br />Village would protest him. <br />George Nelson On recommendation of Lindig, Henry moved, seconded by Rekstad, <br />appointed to that George Nelson be appointed a member of the legislative <br />legislative committee. Potion carried by a unanimous vote. <br />committee <br /> Following resolution, moved by Henry, seconded by Lindig: <br /> RESOLUTION DESIGNATING FALCON HEIGHTS STATE BANK <br />Y."tla ~c DEPO ITORY FOR VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />~~ Posltory <br /> RESOLVED, That Faloon Heights State Bank of Falcon Heights, <br /> Minnesota, be and hereby is designated as a depository for the <br /> funds of the Village of Faloon Heights. The Village Treasurer <br /> is authorised to deposit Village funds therein to the amount of <br /> X25,000.00. <br /> RESOLVED ALSO, That before any deposits are made in said bank <br /> in excess of the amount of such deposit guaranteed by the Federal <br /> Deposit Insurance Corporation, such bank will be required to <br /> supply the village a corporate surety bond in the amount of <br /> =80,000.00, subject to the approval oP the village council and <br /> oonditioned to repay the above amount or any part thereof upon <br /> proper demand therefor and to perform suoh other duties in con- <br /> nection with acid deposit as the council may require. In lieu <br /> of this bond, such bank may Furnish such collateral as is <br />1 <br />1 <br />
