i ~~~ <br />Village entrance of the Fite Station. He was informed that Village entrance signs <br />signs (cont`d). have been ordered for Roselawn and Snelling, and Hoyt and Snell- <br />ing. Also that Seaborn will ask the County to put signs at <br />Village entrances on County roads. <br />Full census Stewart reported receipt of a phone call from Mr. William Showell, <br />count desired. Census Supervisor, that the Falcon Heights oensus had been com- <br />pleted except for follow-up work. It was agreed to ask the Rose <br />Tribune to publish a letter prepared by the clerk, urging <br />residents not counted in the oensus to call the Village Hall and <br />give their name and address. <br />Hermes Floral Co. Building Inspector Reichow reported that the Hermes Floral Company <br />to erect steel had requested a permit to replace their present shed wit h a steal <br />building. building, also for altering sub-structure on their property be- <br />tween Tatum and Cleveland. After discussion, Rekstad moved that <br />permit be issued. Shavor seconded and carried unanimously. <br />Village Assessor William Torgerson, Village Assessor, thanked the council for <br />reports large furnishing him with mimeographed copies of the article, "Tax <br />percentage of Facts For Falcon Heiights Home Owners, stating that many <br />people in Northome residents inquire as to taxes and that the article is helpful <br />not counted in to them and saves him time. He also reported that a large <br />census. percentage of resid ants in the Borthome area state they haws <br />not been called on by the census enumerator. Torgerson agreed <br />to cooperate in the council's plan by urging people missed by <br />the census taker to phone the Village Hall. <br />Bills: Following bills were presented: <br />Dwight Reichow, building inspector's fees, permits 43 to <br />54, inclusive, $89.10 <br />Wager Office Equipment Co., Burroughs portable adder, $?5.00 <br />A.V.Winterer do Son, final payment, heating and plumbing <br />contract, $967.80 <br />On motion by Rekstad, seconded by Henry, the bills were <br />ordered paid. <br />Montgomery Ward Amounting to $4?.03, including $1.08 transportation charge, <br />bill for ping was considered. Henry moved that the bill be paid sub3ect <br />pong table. to cancellation of the transportation charge. Seconded by <br />Shavor and carried. <br />Winterer to be After discussion, Henry mowed that Plumbing and Heating <br />advised of Contractor A. V.
