Graham, Attorney <br />Meeting called to order at ?:50 pm. <br />Minutes oP June 13 meeting approved as read. <br />Police Officer Don Arndt, Chairman, Public Safety Committee, reported on <br />Zianhelt's claim of Police Officer Zirnhelt far X33.35. Arndt read a <br />claim for X33.35. letter from Zirnhelt, submitting a total of $212.76 for hours <br />of patrolling and mileage from Oct. 15, 1949 thru Dec. 8, <br />1949, Zirnhelt stating he had received a aheck of X184.46 on <br />Jan. 4, 1950, in part payment of this amount, leaving a balance <br />due him arf #28.30, which he has not as yet received. In <br />addition, two calls answered by him in 1950, in hours and mile- <br />age, amount to ~b.05, making a total claimed by Zirnhelt of <br />X33.35. Stating he intends to dispose of his oar, Zirnhelt <br />also asked to return to the Village the three red lights in- <br />stalled on his car, also that the Village share the cost of <br />removing same and welding holes in fenders. He also made <br />application for full-time police work if and when the council <br />decides to put on a full-time policeman. After discussion, <br />Henry moved that up to X5.00 be authorised Por removal of red <br />lights and fender repairs on Zirnhelt's car, also payment of <br />Zirnhelt's claim for X33.35, aub3eot to oheok of verified <br />accoznts by the clerk. Rekstad seconded. Carried. <br />Justice of the In connection with parking violations on the University <br />Peace Farm campus being heard by a village Justice of the Peace, <br />Mr. Arndt said it was his understanding if arrest is made <br />by the County that any Pines would go to the County. Attorney <br />Graham will check and advise as to wh at the statute says in <br />this respect. <br />Bills: Were presented as follows: <br /> Northwestern Bell Telephone Co., Ne 5200, June 10, $8.70 <br /> O.J. Reichow, building inspector's fee, permits <br /> 55 thru 67, X130.78. <br /> Lindig moved payment of bills, seconded by Rekstad. Carried. <br />Fill on Pillage Attorney Graham reported that contact with University represent- <br />Hall and Fire atives disclosed they did not know about our property line <br />Station lot. extending 12 or 15 feet beyond the Pence, and that they wish <br /> to oheok into the matter.
