Commissioner Seaborn was <br />asked to check as to number of lights needed and cost. <br />Ballot After discussion of ballot boxes to be had from the City of <br />boxes St Paul and the Village's needs in this connection, Henry moved, <br />seconded by Lindig, that the clerk be authorized to purchase <br />three ballot boxes at a cost of not to exceed X5.00 each. <br />Motion carried. <br />Fire Equipment Letter of November 2~ from Attorney Graham was read relative to <br />for Lauder- to calling and paying for additional fire fighting equipment for <br />dale. fires in Lauderdale. Shavor will contact the Fire Underwriters <br />as to insurance classification rating Lauderdale will be <br />entitled to after installation of hydrants. <br />Rysgaard In connection with letter from E. Y. Eckman relative to the <br />resignation Fire Department committee, which was read at the October 24 <br />from Fire meeting, Stewart reported that John Rysgaard had offered his <br />Dept. Com. resignation from the committee due to inability to serve because <br />of a recent health set-back and the need of devoting more time <br />to his business. Henry moved that the Council accept with <br />reluctance Mr. Rysgaard's resignation and that he be extended <br />a vote of thanks and appreciation for his services on the Fire <br />Department committee. Lindig seconded and motion carried un- <br />animously. <br />Raymond ~riatter of selling Christmas trees on Minnesota Amusement <br />Norrgard, Company lot, Snelling and Larpenteur, by Raymond Norrgard, <br />Xmas trees.- University Farm student, was considered. To insure having <br />the lot restored to a satisfactory condition, the clerk was <br />directed to ask Air. Norrgard to post X25.00 cash deposit with <br />Treasurer Van Hoven, this amount to tie returned to Norrgard <br />when the requirement as to cleaning up the lot has been ful- <br />filled. Also that Mr. Norrgard be requested to observe any <br />suggestions the Fi re Chief or Public Safety Chaiiman might have <br />to offer him. <br />X245.49 cash <br />for personal <br />property <br />from Rose- <br />ville. <br />Recess <br />meeting <br />Approved: <br />Treasurer Van Hoven reported receipt of $245.49 check from <br />the Village of Roseville for the Town of Rose in connection <br />with the division of personal property. <br />at 11:45 P .M. <br />The meeting was then ordered recessed until the evening of <br />November 30, 1950. <br /> <br />~] <br />1 <br />e rk -~ <br />• G~. <br />Mayor . <br />i <br />
