Unanimously carried. <br />University <br />Land purchase. Lynn Matteson appeared before the Council to report on negotiations <br /> wi th the University as to purchase of the land occupied by the <br /> Village Ball and Fire Station. After discussion, Lindig moved that <br /> Matteson be authorized to proceed on the basis that a thi rd appraiser <br /> be appointed. by appraisers for the Village and appraisers for the <br /> University, with the understanding them the appraisal of the appointee <br /> will not be binding on either tre Village or the University. Graham, Attorney <br />Absent: Ralph Van Hoven, Treasurer <br />Meeting walled to order at ?:50 PM and minutes oP regular meeting, <br />Jan. 2S, and of special meeting, Jan. 28, 1951, approved as read. <br />Proposed For the area bounded by Fairview, Cleveland, Larpenteur and Roselawn, <br />Street was disaussed with the Counail by Lorris Williams and C. K. Otis, of <br />Plan the Planning Commission. It was agreed th at after the plans are <br />completed, the affected property owners will be asked to attend a <br />meeting of the Council for an informal disoussion of the proposed <br />street plan. <br />
