<br />Civilian Mayor Henry reported on appointments of George Gustafson to head
<br />Defense the Village Civilian Defense organization, and of William Olson
<br />appointments as Mr. Gustafson's assistant.

<br />Bank checks motion by Lindig, accord ed by Henry, was ahthorized to have
<br /> 1,000 additional ah ecks printed for the Village. Seconded by
<br /> Henry and carried unanimously.
<br />Treasurer's The clerk read a note Prom Treasurer van Hoven, comparing liquor
<br />report tea end cigarette tea apportionments with the previous six-month
<br /> period, showing an increase of $1,000 for both apportionments><3uat reo'd.

<br />Juhl re Henry stated he had report from Street commissioner Seaborn as to
<br />extending receipt of a lette r from Mr. Juhl about extending Simpson Avenue
<br />Simpson Ave. Prom Ruggles to Roselawn with assursaoe that Yr. Juhl would pay
<br /> for brin~figg the proposed extension up to proper grade.
<br />Civilian Defense Mayor Henry also advised as to report from Publio Safety Committee
<br />police school Chairman Don Arndt as to attendance at Ramsey County auxiliary
<br /> police school for Civilian Defense.
