~~~ <br />[i <br />1 <br />Meeting with Attorney Graham's letter of September 18, 1951, relative <br />Douglas Rees to his .and Trustee Lindig's meeting with Mr. Douglas Rees <br />reported. and Mr. Don Julen, including examination of the alley and <br />premises north of Larpenteur, between Snelling and Arona <br />Avenues, the proposed man-hole behind Dry Cleaners and <br />alley drainage, water running across Larpenteur and down <br />Arona, plans far minature golf course, root beer stand lease, <br />ete. The County Engineer will be contacted as to putting in <br />a patch basin back of the Dry Cleaners, and if practicable, to <br />furnish estimated cost. <br />Xmas decorations Letters from Attorney Graham relating to the question of the <br />Village aiding the Commercial Club financially in providing <br />Correcting Christmas decorations on a downtown area private lot, also <br />Street letters regarding St Paul Water Department request to correct <br />Numbers certain street numbers. <br />Fuel Oil The Clerk reported of the various competitive bids received <br />from fuel oil companies, that the Thorne Coal and Uil Company's <br />bid of $12.50 per hundred gallons deliver ed at the Village Hall, <br />was the lowest. On motion by pekstad, seconded by Lindig, the <br />Clerk was authorized to advise the Thorne Coal and Oil Company <br />that they could supply the Village with No. 2 fuel oil on a <br />monthly ~ndakeep fill" basis the same as last year at the <br />delivered price quoted in their letter of August 25, 1951. <br />Ad3ournment: On motion, the meeting ad3ourned at 12:50 A.M., Sept. 26th. <br />Approved: rk <br />Mayor <br />REGULAR MEETING, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9, 1951 <br />1 <br />Present: <br />H.
