<br />9-car Harold Be rshow, of the Miles Lumber Company, appeared before the
<br />garage Council regarding erection of a nine=car garage at 1510 hest
<br />Larpenteur, involving setback providion of the code. ®fter dis-
<br />oussion, Lindig moved that the matter be referred to the Planning
<br />Commission for study and recommendation, including recommendation as
<br />to any changes in the code either by way of limitations or a hardship
<br />clause. Seconded by Henry and carried unanimously.
<br />Check L. M. Fleming, 1835 Grand, St Paul, was next heard in connection
<br />Protector with demonstrating and speaking for a check protection machine.
<br />Street Letter was read from the St Paul Water Department referring further
<br />Numbers to duplication of certain street numbers. Following a full discussion
<br />of the matter, Shavor moved that the buildin g inspector be directed
<br />to make arrangements with irir. Flack to get the records from the Water
<br />Department and to take ahargeof issuing street numbers to new buildings
<br />erected in the Village. Seconded by Stewart and carriedsunanimously.
<br />Shavor then moved referring to +; he Planning Commission for study and
<br />recommendation the problem of existing incorrect street numbers.
<br />Stewart seconded and motion carried by a unanimous vote.
<br />University Letter from Attorney Graham relating to reported parking difficulties
<br />Farm on the University Farm Campus, and the question of appointing certain
<br />Police University Farm students as 'police officers with powers to enforce
<br />traffic regulations on the campus, was read and discussed. Attorney
<br />Graham will discuss further with Mr. Bradford, specia 1 assistant
<br />Attorney General, including the question of holding J. P. Court on
<br />the University Farm Campus.
<br />1952 Following discussion oP the budget, the following resolution was
