On motion by Henry, seconded by Lindig, <br /> it was voted to request renewal of the agreement. <br />Voting <br />Booths The clerk reported on contacts made with Minneapolis and St Louis Park <br /> as to securing additional voting booths. After discussion, Henry moved, <br /> seconded by Rekstad, that the clerk be authorised to purchase 15 voting <br /> booths Prom St Louis Park as so an as available after the March, 1952 <br /> primary. Carried unanimously. <br />Trash Literature regarding trash cans offered by Rosenvold axd Cooper <br />1955 <br />Dens , <br />University Avenue, St Paul, was considered. Henry moved that the <br /> matter be referred to Trustee Lindig for checking and recommendation. <br /> Seconded by Rekstad and so ordered. <br />Post Letter was read from Congressman Eugene J. McCarthy acknowledging <br />Office expression of thanks from the Council for his support in securing <br /> approval of the branch post office for Falcon Heights. <br />Proposed The Clerk brought up the matter of making advance arrangements for <br />audit auditing of the books. After discussion, the clerk was directed to <br /> secure eatimates~he cost of an audit from the Public Examiner and <br /> from one or more private C.P.A~s. <br />Drainage, Commissioner Seaborn reported on a County proposal with respect to <br />Larpenteur; drainage north of Larpenteur, also on present status of proposed <br />parking, parking arrangement in Snelling and Larpenteur business area. <br />business area. <br />Holy Child- Henry Gillis, 1480 Simpson, St Paul, appeared before the Council to <br />hood Teen request use of the Village Hall for a recreation program for the <br />Alters Knights of the Holy Childhood Church Teen Alters, including all high <br /> school students. After discussion, Rekstad moved that the Hall be <br /> rented to said Teen Alters from 8:30 P.M. to 11:00 P.M., November 24, <br /> 1951, on the regular basis of $10.00 with the understanding that the <br /> Kell be swept out and left in good condition. Seconded by Lindig and <br /> carried unanimously. <br />Pelling Lindig moved that the polling place fo r the Village Election, December <br />Place 4, 1951, be at the Village Hall', 1644 West Larpenteur, Seconded by <br /> Henry and carried. <br />Polls Lindig then moved that the polls be open from 3:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., <br />Open on December 4, 1951. Henry seconded and motion carri ed. <br />Election On motion by Lindig, seconded by Rekstad, the following were appointed. <br />Judges election fudges: <br />Walter Schiel <br />Mrs. Don Arndt <br />Mrs. C.K.
