<br />Meeting called to order at 7:35 P.M. Minutes of regular meeting, March 12, 1952,
<br />of Public Hearing, March 12, 1952, em d of special meeting, March 18, 1952, were
<br />heard and approved as read.
<br />Household Following a general discussion of personal property taxes on
<br />goods household goods, the following resolution was adopted by a
<br />tax unanimous vote on motion by Henry, seconded by 3teirart -
<br />Resolution "RESOLVED, that the Village Council of the Village of Falcon
<br />H®ights goes on record as advocating abolishment of the
<br />personal property tax on household goods -
<br />And that the Village Clerk be directed to send a copy of
<br />this resolution to Representative Claude Allen and to Senator
<br />Elmer Andersen."
<br />Load limit - Justice of the Peace Lloyd Riley inquired as to whether posted
<br />School buses load limits on streets applied to school buses and to the
<br />& Dale-Hoyt Dale-Hoyt bus operated by the Twin City Lines. It was agreed
<br />bus to contact Reuben L. Achterkirch, of the Columbia Transit Company,
<br /> aryl tiYilliam Lewis, of Kno~rlwood Motors as to size and axle load
<br /> of school buses, and Attorney Graham will check statute as to
<br /> tandem equipment requirement. It was then voted unanimously,
<br /> on motion by Henry, seeanded by Shavor, that the clerk write the
<br /> Twin City Lines, requesting rerouting of the Dale-Hoyt bus so it
<br /> will run on Hemline instead of Arond during soft road conditions.
<br />Bills: On motion by Rekstad, seconded by Shavor, the following bills
<br /> were ordered paid -

<br />and member of the Yillage Council of the Yillage of Lauderdale,
<br />the Falcon Heights Yillage Councih ~$kbh~this means of express-

<br />sincere sympathy to the family in their bereavement.
