~~7 <br />BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVID that this expression of appreciation <br />and sympathy be sent to the family of Mr. Gunderson; also that <br />it be spread upon the minutes of this meeting." <br />Building Don Julen, representing the Associated Investors, Inc., and the <br />Permits ~'aleon Development Corporation, reported roof and ceiling problems <br />in various business places at Snelling and Larpenteur, and asked <br />that the council authorize permits for applying roofs and ceilings <br />in the manner described by Mr. Julen to the council. Following <br />discussion and on recommendation of Building Inspector Reichvw, <br />Henry moved, seconded by Rekstad, that thrCe permits be approved <br />as follows: <br />(1) Reroof and reinsulate Rees building on north si de <br />of Larpenteur. <br />(2) Replace sa-d repair ceiling in same building. <br />(3) Reroof Falcon Development Corporation building. <br />:lotion carried unanimously. <br />Ordinance Following discussion, Shavor moved adoption of ORDINANCE N0. 15, <br />No. 15 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 8, ENTITLID "AN ORDINANCE <br />:PROVIDING A ZONING PLAN FOR THE VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS" <br />Seconded by Stewart and the following vote taken and recorded: <br />Ayes: Henry, Shavor, Lindig, Rekstad, Stewart <br />Nays: None <br />The Mayor then declared Ordinance No. 15 duly adopted by a <br />unanimous vote and directed publication of same. <br />Ordinance Shavor then moved adoption of ORDINANCE N0. 16, AN ORDINANCE <br />No. 16 .AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 8, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING A <br />ZONING PLAN FOR THE VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS". Lindig seconded, <br />and the following vote taken and recorded: <br />Ayes: Henry, Shavor, Lindig, Rekstad, Stewart <br />Nays: None <br />]~ayor Henry declared Ordinan ce No. 16 duly adopted by a unanimous <br />vote and directed publication of same. <br />Ordinance Shavor also moved adoption of Ordinance No. 1?, AN ORDINANCE <br />No. 17 .AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 3, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING <br />.A BUILDING CODE FOR THE VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS". Seconded <br />by Henry and the following vote taken and reco rded: <br />Ayes: Henry, Shavor, Lindig, Rekstad, Stewart <br />Nays: None <br />]ldayor Henry declared Ordinance No. 1T duly adopted by a unanimous <br />vote and directed publication of said ordinance. <br />Health :Eiealth Officer Lindig reported on removal of a scarlet fever placard <br />From the David Adams residence, 1483 West Larpenteur, which was put <br />up March 17, 1952 with release dated March 27, 1952. Lindig also <br />reported removal of scarlet fever placard from the Webb residence <br />as of March 18, 1952. <br />Investing 'Treasurer Van Hoven reported on certificates of deposit and <br />Village funds municipal bonds suggested by the Falcon Heights State Bank. <br />.After discussion, it was agreed to have the Treasurer check <br />further on suitable investments for Village .funds, including <br />'U.S. Series F Bonds. <br />
