<br />Meeting called to order at ?:00 P.M., and there being no objection, reading of
<br />the minutes was deferred.
<br />7-alley Letter of June 10th by Milner w. Carley, submitting plans for
<br />improvement improvement of certain Falcon Heights alleys~y grading and surfac-
<br />ing, was read.
<br />Plan for l~ plan dated June, 1952, consisting of five pages, prepared by
<br />alleys :~dilner ~. Carley, Village Engineer for the project, for the
<br />grading and surfacing of seven alleys in the Village of Falcon
<br />Heights, together with a set of specifications and a form of
<br />proposal, also prepared by :dilner ~. Carley, was presented to
<br />the council and discussed. Following a full discussion, it was
<br />on motion by Henry, seconded by Shavor, voted unanimously to
<br />adopt the following resolution.
<br />Resolution: 1PHEREAS, pu rguant to a resolution passed by the council on Belay 13,
<br />1952, Milner ~. Carley, Village Engineer for this project, has
<br />prepared plans and specifications for the grading and surfacing
<br />of seven designated alleys in the Village of Falcon Heights and
<br />has presented such plans and specifications to the council for
<br />approval -
<br />THEREFORE, BE IT ~SSOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE PILLAGE
<br />OF FALCON HEIGHTS; A9INNESOTA:
<br />1. Such plans and specifications, dated June 1952, prepared by
<br />Milner ~. Carley, Village Engineer for the project, a copy of
<br />which is on file in the office of the Village Clerk, are hereby
<br />approved.
<br />2. The Village clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in
<br />the official paper, The Rose Tribune, an advertisement calling
<br />for bids on the grading and surfacing of the seven-designated
<br />alleys in the Village of Falcon Heights in accordance with the
<br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be
<br />published once in The Rose Tribune, shall specify the work to be
<br />done, shall Dell for bids on the basis of cash payment for such
<br />work, shall state that bids shall be opened and considered by
<br />the council at 7:30 P.BB. on June 24, 1952, at the Village Hall,
<br />and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with
<br />the clerk accompanied by a certified check, a cash deposit or a
<br />bidder's bond.
<br />Bills: On motion by Rekstad, sec ended by Shavor, the following bills
<br />were ordered paid:
