292 <br />Resolution; RESOLVE, (1} The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed <br />(Seven alleys) to enter into a contract with Gust A. Holm Construction Company, <br />1812 Sixteenth Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the name of <br />the Vi11~ge oP Falcon Heights, for the grading and surfacing of the <br />following described alleys - <br />between Idaho and Calif ornia from the west line of Albert to the <br />east line of Pascal <br />between Foyt and Iowa from the west line of Pascal to the east <br />line of Arona <br />between Iowa and Idaho from the west line of Hemline to the east <br />line of Albert <br />between California and Larpenteur from the west line of Pascal to <br />the east line of Arona <br />between California and Larpenteur from the west line of Albert to <br />the east line of Pascal <br />between Larpenteur and Crawford from the west line of Pascal to the <br />east line of Arona, and <br />between Idaho and Iowa from the west line of Pascal to the east line <br />of Arona - <br />according to plans and specifications heretofore approved by the <br />Village council and on file in the office of the Village Cle rk. <br />Minutes: Minutes of the June 24, 1952, meeting were heard and approved as <br />read. <br />i <br />Fire Dept. Henry moved that the certified check furnished by Pederson Brothers, <br />certified check 534 Glendal®, 5t Paul, 3~iinnesota, successful bidders on installation <br />of curbing on Larpenteur, be returned to them. Seconded by Lindig <br />and carried. <br />Tree Trimming Street Commissioner Seaborn submitted sample ordinance on tree <br />trimming with his recommendation that a tree trimming ordinance <br />be adopted. Sample ordinances were referred to Trustees Shavor <br />and Lindig for study and report. <br />Pennig Co. Letter from E. J. Pennig Company, 475 West Minnehaha Avenue, <br />St Paul, Minnesota, as to why they did not submit a bid on <br />the grading and surfacing of seven alleys described in an <br />advertisement in The Rose Tribune, June 12, 1952, was read. <br />
