<br />Insurance William H. Hite, insurance representative, appeared before
<br />the Council to explain his Company's blanket municipal
<br />insu ranee policy. Mr. Hite agreed to have the proposed
<br />policy prepared and delivered to our attorney for comparison
<br />with our present General Comprehensive liability policy
<br />No. GL-3-913928 without obligation to the Village.
<br />Building Building inspector Reichow informed the council that he would
<br />Inspection while be absent from the. Village on vacation for three weeks beginn-
<br />Reichow absent ~ ing February 14, 1953. It was agreed that during Reichow's
<br />absenoe, matters pertaining to building inspection should be
<br />referred to Trustee Shavor.
<br />Bldg. code Building Inspector Reichow reported on what he considered
<br />violation was a violation of Ordinance No. 3 in connection with rooQ
<br />work recently completed on the building at 1528-1552 West
<br />Larpenteur, owned by the W.F. Stepnitz Agency. Following
<br />a discussion, Lindig moved that the Village Attorney be
<br />directed to prepare the necessary papers .for violation of
<br />the Village building code. Seconded by Shavor and carried
<br />unanimously.
<br />Auto liability After disoussion, Henry mw ed that limits of liability in
<br />limits increased connection with our comprehensive automobile policy covering
<br />the fire trucks and non-ownership liability be increased to
<br />X100,000.00 for bodily in3ury per person and to X200,000.00
<br />• each accident. Seconded by Stewart and motion carried by a
<br />unanimous vote.
<br />Acting Bdayor Appointment of an acting i[ayor was considered and George
<br />Shavor was nominated. There being no further nominations,
<br />Shavor Ras declared duly appointed to the office of Acting
<br />Mayor.
<br />Legal newspaper The following resolution was moved by Lindig, seconded by
<br />Shavor and adopted unanimously:
<br />RESOLQED, That the Rose Tribune, a legal newspaper of
<br />general cir culation in the Village of Falcon Heights, be
<br />and it hereby is designated as the official newspaper of
<br />the Village of Falcon Heights, in which shall be published
<br />such ordinances sad other matters as are required by law
<br />to be so published, sad such other matters as the council
<br />ma deem it advisable and in the public interest to have
<br />published in this manner for the year 1953.
