~~ <br />Bank Depository On motion by Stewart, seconded by Lindi g, the following <br />resolution was passed by a unanimous vote: <br />RESOLVED, That Falcon Heights State Bank of Falcon <br />Haig hts, Minnesota, be and hereby is doss gnated as a <br />depository for the funds of the Village of Faloon Heights, <br />and that the Village Treasurer is authorised to deposit <br />village funds therein to the amatnt of forty-Five thousand <br />dollars 045,000.00). <br />RESOLVED FURTHER, That the present oollateral furnished <br />by Faloon Heights State Bank consisting of forty. thou sand <br />dollars 040,000.00), face value, of U.S. government obligations, <br />accompanied by an assignment providing that in case oP default <br />on the part of Faloon Heights State Sank the council has full <br />power and authority to sell the oollateral or ao much as may <br />be necessary to realise the full amount due the municipality, <br />is hereby approved, said collateral having a market value in <br />excess of 10~ over the amount of the above authorised deposit <br />in excess of the amount guaranteed by the Federal Deposit <br />Insurance Corporation. <br /> RESOLVED FCTRTHER, That checks of the Village of Falcon <br /> Heights drawn upon the said bank c unt shall b h~ored <br />al~` ~horee <br />d b <br />wi <br />ll <br />: <br />f th <br />f <br />f <br />i <br />Signatures y <br />o <br />ng <br />gne <br />o <br />e <br />o <br />s <br />by said bank only i <br /> H. Seconded by Lindig and carried <br /> unanimously. <br />Posting places On motion by Henry, seconded by Stewart, the following <br /> posting places were designated: <br /> (1) Blomberg's Store, Iowa and Hamiline avenues <br /> (2) Biational Tea Store, Larpenteur and Snelling avenues <br /> (3) Gibbs School, Cleveland and Larpenteur avenues <br /> ~aocxs=xxt~ic <br />Election hours Henry moved, seconded by Shavor, that the polls at Village <br /> elections be kept open Prom 3:00 P.ii. to 8:00 P.M. Motion <br /> carried. <br />Council Meetings Henry moved that regular meetings of the Council be held on <br /> the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the Village <br /> Hall, beginning at 7:30 P.M., with provision that if the <br /> meeting date falls on a legal holiday that the meeting be <br /> held. on the next aeeular day. Seconded by Lindig and carried. <br />Safety deposit box Lindig moved that the Village continue rooting a safety <br /> deposit box at the Falcon Heights State Bank at a rental of <br /> X6.00 per year. Shavor seconded and motion carried. <br />
