Readin g of minutes of <br />the March 10, 1953 meeting followed and were approved as read. <br />Bills: On motion by Lindig, seconded by Lo~ahl, the following <br />bills were ordered paid: <br /> Northwestern Bell Telephone Co., Ne 5200, 3-10, $11.20 <br /> St Paul Book & Stationery Co., 15 doz map tacks, X2.25 <br />Barthel Joe Barthel, 1454 Roselawn Avenue, appeared bef ore the <br />Villas Council in connection with property he owns in Barthel <br /> Villas. He was informed that before permit could be <br /> authorised for building on his Barthel Villas property <br /> that drainage facilities would have to be provided in a <br /> manner satisfactory to the County Engineer. Mr. Barthel <br /> indicated he would dfsouss the matter with the County <br /> Engineer. <br />Salaries - Fire Chief Swanson's memo relating to expiration of <br />paid firemen 30-day probationary periods for Firemen Bertrand J.
