<br />requested by of July 31, 1953, from Bertrand J. Slams, the two paid firemen,
<br />paid Firemen requesting salary increases, were read. On motion by Lodahl,
<br />seconded by Shavor, the letters were ordered referred to the
<br />Fire Department committee for study and recommendation.
<br />Fire .Dept. Relief Letter of August 1, 1953, from Henry J. Dachtera, Secretary,
<br />Firemen's Relief Association, relative to request of Board of
<br />Trustees of said Association that the council levy an additional
<br />.4 of a mill for ~e year 1954 towards firemen's relief. On
<br />motion by Henry, seconded by Shavor, the letter was referred
<br />to Attorney Graham for checking and report.
