~i~ <br />Vol. Firemen's The clerk was instructed to inf orm the Association by phone the <br />Assn. demands following morning that the council is not prepared to have such <br />meeting (cont'd) a meeting until the study now under way regarding the Fire <br />Department matters in question is completed, also that the <br />Firemen's volunteer association will be informed when the study <br />is completed and about arrangements which may be made for a <br />meeting at that time. <br />Requisition Requisition No. 12, covering supplies needed in the Clerk's office <br />#12 (Clerk) was presented. Motion carried. <br />s <br />• <br />~a~saa=aa~sdsaais <br />Hartfiel for rezoning the northwest corner of Larpenteur and north Hamline <br />Rezoning from Residence District "A" to Business District was considered. <br />petition After the council's discussion of the matter with Mr. W.A Hartfiel, <br />Stewart moved that the petition be referred to our attorney for <br />checking and advice. Seconded by Lindig; and carried unanimously. <br />Surety Bond .After discussion, Lindig moved that the surety bond. to be furnished <br />"CAapp Thommsen by Cetem Realty Corporation to secure completion of conditions in <br />Maple Knoll connection with approval of final plat of"Clapp Thommen Maple Knoll <br />Addition" Addition" be filed with the Clerk. Seconded by Stewart and so <br />ordered. <br />Fuel Oil The Clerk presented two bids on 7,000 gallons of No. 2 fuel oil <br />bids required by the Village for the 1953-51~ heating season, one bids <br />dated Sept. 1, 1953 from the Nelson Oil Company, Inc., quoting <br />price of 12.2¢ per gallons and one bid from the Thorne Coal and <br />Oil Company, dated September 5, 1953, at a price of 12¢ per <br />gallon. Lindig moved that the lowest bid. received from Thorne <br />Coal and Oil Company be accepted. Stewart seconded and carried <br />unanimously. <br />Keller bond Treasurer Van Hoven reported receipt of X500.00 bond from George <br />insuring Keller to insure against possible damage to roads when the Keller <br />against damage home is moved from 1l~07 ~. Larpenteur to proposed location on <br />to roads N, Holton. <br />1 <br />~l <br />J <br />1951 Budget Van Hoven also brought up the matter of having a special meeting <br />meeting for the purpose of preparing the budget for 1954. It was agreed <br />to hold said meeting at the Village Hall, commencing a t 7s30 P.
