-. <br />~~ Ei <br />?aster Gas On motion by Cartwright, seconded by Shavor, it was voted <br />Installers' unanimously to approved applications for f42aster Gas Installers' <br />licenses licenses to the following firms and of issuance of said <br />Nos. 16 R~ 17 licenses as dated: <br />A~i.G.I. license No. 16 to Theo. G. Helle ~ Company, 12-28-53 <br />" " " 17 to Standard Heating Company, 1-7-5l~ <br />Street Appraisal In connection with Minnesota Highway Study Commission's letter <br />and Report of December 23, 1953, Shavor moved approval of order placed on <br />hecember 29, 1953, requesting the County Engineer to make <br />street appraisal and report as desired by the Study Commission. <br />Seconded by Cartwright and carried unanimously. <br />Pre fab Don Julep, of the Stepnitz Agency and Arthur Tieso, representing <br />home Tiesto Gontractors, appeared before the council in connection <br />with a proposal to build a P. ?~ H. Pioneer Nome (pre fab home) <br />at Pascal and Larpenteur to be used as an office by the Tieso. <br />Contracting Company. after discussion, 1~tessrs. Julep and <br />Tieso were informed that construction of the home is not permiss- <br />ible under the ordinance without rezoning of the property. Plans <br />for the proposed P&H Pioneer home were then turned over to <br />Building Inspector Christensen for checking against requirements <br />of the building code. <br />Requisitions??equisition No. 19, covering supplies for Clerk's office, and <br />l~Tos. 19 and 20 Requisition No. 20, supplies for Treasurer, were presented. <br />On motion by Hustrulid, seconded by Cartwright, it was voted <br />to approve same. <br />Revolvers, badges, The Clerk reported that Village property, consisting of two <br />helmets 38 special Smith ~ ~Teston revolvers, 2 police badges and 12 <br />helmets were turned over to him recently. (revolvers in holsters). <br />Also that the 19119 books record the following items purchased <br />for policing: <br />Acct. No. Items Price <br />Police 1l~6 'f badges 0 <br />equipment 1115 Police caps 10.70 <br />1119 Lights & switches 9.97 <br />167 Lamps 17.23 <br />150 2 revolvers, billys 103.92 <br />and holsters <br />2211 2 police packets t~7.l~0 <br />The Fire Chief reported that excepting the revolvers, badges <br />and helmets, that such items as listed were stored in th.e <br />Fire Department. Stenzinger then moved that the revolvers, <br />badges and helmets be left with the Village Clerk until further <br />council action, and that other items as listed be left with the <br />Fire Department. Seconded by Stewart and so ordered. <br />Bills: On motion by Nustrulid, seconded by Cartwright, the following <br />bills were ordered paid: <br />Postmaster, St Paul, 3¢ postage stamps, ~K1S•CO <br />Nick Christensen, fees, bldg permits 318 thru 352, X53.78 <br />
