..~ <br />Bank Depository RESOLVED FURTHER, That the present collateral furnished by <br />(cont'd) Falcon Heights State Rank consisting of forty thousand dollars <br />(~1a0,000,00), face value, of U.S. government obligations, <br />accompanied by an assignment providing that in case of default <br />on the part of Falcon Heights State Bank the council has full <br />power and authority to sell the collateral or so much as may be <br />necessary to realize the full amount due the municipality, is <br />hereby approved, said collateral having a market value in excess <br />of 10~ over the amount of the above authorized deposit in excess <br />of the amount guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance <br />Corporation. <br />RESOLVED FURTHER, That checks of the Village of Falcon Heights <br />drawn upon the said bank account shall be honored by said bank <br />only if signed by all three of the following: .Robert E. <br />Stenzinger, Mayor; Clyde J, S+,,ewart, Clerk; and bdilliam E. Olsen, <br />Treasurer. <br />RESOLVED FURTHER, That this designation shall be effective only <br />until the end of the present council year, and. that a copy of <br />the resolution duly certified by the Clerk be delivered to the <br />Falcon Heights State Bank. <br />Village Attorney Stenzinger moved that the firm of Briggs, Gilbert, Morton, Kyle <br />and ?.tacartney, of St Paul, Minnesota, be engaged as attorneys <br />for the Village for 19511. Seconded by Stewart and carried <br />unan imously. <br />Posting Places On motion by Cartwright, seconded by Shavor, the following <br />posting places were designated for 19511: <br />(1) Blomberg's Store, Iowa and Hamline avenues <br />(2) National Tea Store, Larpen±eur and Snelling avenues <br />(3) Gibbs School, Cleveland and Larpenteur avenues <br />Council Meetings Hustrulid moved that regular meetings of the council be held <br />on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, in the <br />'" Village Hall, peginning a t 7:30 P.M., with provision that if <br />the meeting date falls on a legal holiday that the meeting be <br />held on the next secular day. Seconded by Stewart and carried <br />unanimously. <br />Safety Deposit Stewart moved that the Village continue renting a safety deposit <br />box box at the Falcon Heights State Bank at a rental of X5.00 per <br />year. Seconded by Cartwright and carried unanimously. <br />Village Assessor On motion by Shavor, seconded. by Hustrulid, it was voted <br />unanimously to recommend William Torgerson as Village Assessor <br />for 1951. <br />Street Commissioner Stenzinger moved appointment of G.S. Seaborn as Village Street <br />Commissioner for 1951. Seconded by Cartwright,axct motion <br />carried unanimously, and Seaborn declared duly appointed to office. <br />Building Inspector On motion by Hustrulid, seconded by Cartwright, it was voted <br />unanimously to appoint Nick Christensen to the office of Building <br />Inspector for 1951. The Mayor then declared Christensen duly <br />appointed Village Building Inspector. <br />
