C. K. Otis be <br />appointed to membership on said Planning, Commission for a <br />term of three years, commencing January 1, 195l~. Stenzinger <br />seconded, motion carried unanimously, and Otis declared duly <br />appointed to office. <br />Board of Health Shavor moved appointment of Dr. Thos. Krezowski as Chairman, <br />Board of Health, for term of office expiring on the first <br />business day in January, 1955. Stewart seconded, motion carried <br />unanimously, and Dr. Krezowski declared duly appointed to office. <br />Gas Inspector Stewart moved appoint e~ E. D. parson as Village Gas Inspector <br />for the year 195, Seconded by Hustrulid, motion carried <br />unanimously, and Larson declared duly appointed Village Gas <br />Inspector. <br />Salaries: Shavor moved that salaries for the Mayor and Trustees for <br />the year 195 be set in amounts as follows: <br />Mayor, X50.00 monthly <br />Trustees, each, Sk35.U0 monthly <br />Hustrulid seconded and motion carried. <br />Shavor moved, seconded by Cartwright, that the salary for <br />'T'reasurer for the year 1951 be set at 9~l~0.00 per month. <br />i~~otion carried. <br />After discussion, Cartwright moved that the Clerk's salary <br />for the year 1951 be ~6150.OU per month, Seconded by Shavor <br />and so ordered. <br />Financial statement In connection with preparation of the Village financial statement <br />for year ended December 31, 1953; Shavor moved that. the Clerk be <br />authorized to arrange for assistance on the same basis as last <br />year and for publishing the 1953 financial statement in the Rose <br />Tribune. Seconded by Cartwright and so ordered. <br />Treasurer's Reports Ralx~h Van Hoven, former treasurer, reported on the Treasurer's <br />1954 Budget Estimate and about proposed arrangements for furnishing_ <br />a copy of said estimate to each member of the council, <br />Justice of the Bond for newly elected Justice of the Peace was considered. <br />Peace bond Cartw~rght moved that the surety bond for the Justice of the <br />Peace be set in tree amount of X500, and that said bond be secured <br />for a two-year period, beginning January 1, 195l~. Seconded <br />by Hustrulid, and motion carried. <br />
