,j <br />I <br />I <br />Treasurer's A~atter of setting the amount of the Treasurer's bond was <br />Bond considered. Letter from the Village Attorney was read in this <br />connection, and the matter was discussed with the former <br />Treasurer, Ralph Van Hoven. Stewart then moved that the surety <br />bond of the .Treasurer be set in the amount of X1,000 and that <br />the treasurer be authorized to secure said bond on a two-year <br />basis. Seconded by Shavor and so ordered. <br />Treasurer's Monthly Treasurer Vtiilliam Olsen asked the council if the treasurer's <br />Reports monthly reports with copy for each council member, showing <br />balances in the various fundd~should be continued. Stenzinger, Mayor; George J. Shavor, <br />Trustee; Andrew Hustrulid, Trustee; David F. Cartwright, Trustee, and Clyde J. <br />Stewart, Clerk. Also present - Gilliam E. Olsen, Treasurer and Frank N. Graham, <br />Attorney. <br />Lauderdale Letter from the Village of Lauderdale was read, enclosing <br />Standby check for ~lOG.00 covering January 195lt standby charge, <br />Fire run but stating that the Lauderdale council had tabled the X75.00 <br />.charges charge for fire run Dec. 31, 1953, pending investigation. <br />Fire Chief Swanson reported that Lauderdale had informed him <br />subsequently that check for the fire run charge would be <br />forwarded to our treasurer. <br />Lauderdale The Clerk inquired if the Fire Contract with Lauderdale should <br />Fire Contract be revised to include protection for a three-block strip <br />between Pleasant and ~Pdalnut to be annexed by Lauderdale. <br />Our Attorney then reviewed terms of our standby fire contract <br />with Lauderdale, seating_ that ~gid matter should be considered <br />by the council when the new area becomes a part of Lauderdale <br />effective February 11, 195lt. <br />1 <br />Master Gas On motion by Cartwright, seconded by Hustrulid, it was voted <br />Installer's to approve~t application for Master C=as Installer's license <br />License #18 by the A.B.C. Heating Company, of St Paul, and of issuance <br />of master Gas Installer's license No. 18 to said Company <br />as of January 16, 1951. <br />
