<br />Eating Mike Hadreas, 5629 York Avenue South, *ginneapolis, and Peter
<br />place Karalis, 2408 Byrd Avenue, Golden Valley, appeared before the
<br />proposed council with proposed plans for remodeling the interior of
<br />the store building at 1533 "Vest Larpenteur, which they propose
<br />to lease for operating an eating place with soft drihks and
<br />cigarettes. They were advised that the proposed interior
<br />remodeling would require securing a permit from the building
<br />inspector, and that they should file application for cigarette
<br />license in accordance with Ordinance No. !~.
<br />Requests Wayne Sorensen, 643 Kent,,and Gerald Anderson, 1273 Van Buren,
<br />water main both of St Paul, were introduced to the Council by Building
<br />extension Inspector Christensen. They requested that the water main on
<br />Iowa saenue be extended to service Lot ?_, Block 10, Northome
<br />Second Addition, After discussion, Stenzinger moved that the
<br />Clerk be directed to write the Board of ?dater Commissioner,
<br />St Paul, for information as to the cost of extending said main.
<br />Seconded by Cartwright and motion carried unanimously.
<br />10-family apt. Carl Lien, of the Sheehy Construction Company, St Paul, said
<br />proposed by his Company was interested in constructing a 10-family apartment
<br />Sheehy Constr. building on property north of Larpenteur between Fry and St. Marys
<br />Co. streets, stating it would be an FHA project. After discussion,
<br />Mr. Lien was furnished with copies of building and zoning
<br />ordinances and when ready to submit proposed plans to the
<br />council after checking same with our building inspector.

<br />E.D. Larson, Gas Inspector, inquired as to inspection require-
<br />ments for bottled gas installations, referring especially to
<br />some in the ~gaple Knoll Addition. He was informed that the
<br />State makes such inspections. Building Inspector Christensen
<br />will check to see if such inspections were ma~~e in Ty~aple Knoll.
