John A Carlson, Chairman of said Post, with respect to <br />governing provisions of Ordinance A1o. 5. Seconded by Cartwright <br />and motion carried unanimously. <br />Congregational Letter of April 9, 1951 from ter. A.D. Cramp±on, of the County <br />Church drain- Engineer's office, relating to the solution of the drainage <br />age problem problem on lots south of the Congregational church, was read. <br />Shavor moved that copy of ~Ir. Cramp ton's letter be sent to <br />Ihr. b~arkentien, Chairman of the Church's Board of Trustees. <br />Seconded by Hustrulid and motion carried unanimously. <br />Alley adjacent The Clerk reported that in discussing with ~~~~r. Carley, engineer, <br />to business area the condition of the alley adjacent to business property north <br />north of Larpenteur of Larpenteur, that Mr. Carley said he had completed a survey <br />of the alley last fall. After discussion, Cartwright moved <br />that i~dr. Carley be asked to attend our next meeting for the <br />purpose of reporting on the survey and for making recommendations. <br />Stenzinger seconded and so ordered. <br /> <br />Street Lighting The attorney reported favorably on his examination of the <br />Contract proposed street lighting contract with the Northern States <br />Power Company. After some discussion, the following resolution <br />was on motion by Shavor, seconded by Stewart, adopted by a <br />unanimous vote: <br />Resolution RLSOLV.`r.;D, that the Village Council of the Villa~?e of Falcon <br />Heights, Ramsey County, ~~innesota, hereby accepts the offer of <br />the Northern States Pawer Company, a ~":innesota corporation, to <br />furnish illumination for street lightinv produced by <br />21 - 6000 Lumen Lamps <br />all located or to be located in said Village, and hereby approves <br />all rates, terms, conditions and specifications contained in the <br />proposed form of OVERHEAD STREET LIGHTING CONTRACT made a part of <br />the offer of said Company, a.nd the Pviayor and Village Council and. <br />the Village C1 erk are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />the aforesaid contract for and in the name of the Village and affix <br />the corporate seal thereto. <br />Adjournment: On motion, the meeting; adjourned at 11:30 P.iv1. <br />Approved: /~ Cl <br /> <br />
