<br />Kenneth Liedholm 100 N. Albert, said the filling station in his neighbor- <br />hood was being used as a truck terminal. <br />Ernest E. Taylor who is leasing the station at Albert and Larpenteur,stated <br />that he is a family man trying to make a living, th at the <br />property occupied by his service station is zoned commercial, <br />' acrd that trucks he services are used for hauling parcel post <br />packages from various business places to the postal department. <br />Mrs.Ydm.P. Mock 1397 ~. Larpenteur Avenue, said she lives across the street <br />from Mr. Taylors station and that at times a truck arrives, <br />loads smaller trucks and then moves out. Also that trucks <br />coming into the station at night have damaged the boulevard, <br />adding to a drainage problem in the area. Said the station <br />lights are not hooded and that they shine into homes in the <br />area. <br />Mr. Taylor referred to thin~?s that the Shell Company agreed to do at <br />his station after holding, a meting with two members of <br />the council. One of these things he said was putting up <br />a fence, which he said was shipped about two weeks ago. <br />Said he is making every effort to maintain a clean station, <br />and assured the council all the things agreed to will be <br />taken care of in due time. <br />Adjournment: No one else wishing to be heard, the Mayor declared the <br />meeting adjourned at 9:55 P.
