Fire Chief's was read, requesting that all purchases for the Fire. Department, <br />letter re excepting emergency purchases, be made by the Village purchasing <br />Fire Dept. agent or clerk. Hustrulid then moved that the Clerk make all <br />purchases purchases for the Fire Department excepting emergency needs in <br />accordance with the Fire Chief's letter. Wolfgram, 1530 West Iowa, together with <br />Iowa petition signed by Mr. Wolfgram and five others, requesting <br />repair of gutters and blacktopping on Iowa from Arona west <br />to dead end of Iowa avenue. On motion by Cartwright, seconded <br />by Stenzinger, it was voted unanimously to have the Street <br />Commissioner place order to have the work done, provided. he <br />felt it was reasonable. <br />Cigarette Application to sell cigarettes at retail for period July 1, <br />licenses 195l~ thru June 30, 1955, together with check covering license <br />fee of X12.00, was presented from each of the following; <br />Falcon Heights Pharmacy <br />Applebaum's Food Market <br />Farmers Union Grain Terminal Association <br />Flaherty Lanes <br />Flameburger Corporation <br />National Tea Company <br />Blomberg's <br />LaBeau Novelty Sales Co. (Falcon Oil) <br />Cartwright moved approval of said applications and that <br />list of said licensees be furnished to the Village police <br />for their information.
