Stenzinger seconded <br /> and motion carried unanimously. <br />1 <br />Maple Engineer Carley reported that he had talked with the party who is <br />Knoll installing dry wells in the Maple Knoll area, It was 'Drought out <br />that an easement had been given to the Village to insure flash <br />flood protection. This. easement affects 15 feet of Lot 3 and 15 feet <br />of Lot 1t, lying on either. side of the line dividing these two <br />lots. Attorney Graham stated he had the copies of these easements <br />in his office and would turn them over to Engineer Carley. The <br />Engineer recommended that a 12-inch overflow pipe, !~0 f t. in lengtr, <br />be extended to the north on the above mentioned lot line, and the <br />engineer was asked to contact the developers with that plan. <br />meeting time It being 11 P.~;. at this point, Stewart moved that time for <br />for adjourning adjournment be extended to 11:30 P,bg. in order to take care of <br />extended unfinished business. Cartwright seconded and so ordered. <br />Klatt Engineer Carley then discussed. the proposed platting of a portion <br />property of the Klatt property north of the Falcon Heights grade school. <br />It developed that Mr. Klatt had not told Mr. Carley all about the <br />problem of extending Ruggles street to the west. Mr, Carley <br />asked the council for tentative approval of the general layout <br />subject to satisfactory arrangement for the streets and drainage, <br />which would be submitted later, but previous to submittal of the <br />final plat. The council took no action in the matter. <br />Alleys to After discussion, Cartwright moved that the Street Commissioner <br />be oiled be authorized for 19511 to order oiling and sanding of alleys that <br />come up to required specifications and that he report each year <br />on any new alleys to be included.
