<br />Meeting called to order at 7:.50 P.i~R., roll call recording the following council
<br />members present: Robert iJ. Stenzinger, Mayor; George J. Shavor, Trustee; David
<br />P. Cartwright, Trustee; Clyde J. Stewart, Clerk. Absent: Andrew Hustrulid,
<br />Trustee. Also present, VWilliam E. Olsen, Treasurer, and Frank N. Graham, Attorney.
<br />Minutes of July 1lt, 1954 meeting were heard and approved as read.

<br />Reqns #35 Requisition No. 35, office supplies for clerk, 100 ft. garden hose,5/8",~ ~'`~~

<br />and #36 and filing cabinet for commercial plans; also Requisition No. 36,
<br />building permit cards, applications for permits, etc., were considered.
<br />It was voted to approve said requisitions on motion by Cartwright,
<br />seconded by Shavor.
<br />AR. G. I. for the I~~itchell Company, 1669 Selby Avenue, St Paul, together with
<br />license check for X25.00 covering license fee thru June 30, 1955, was
<br />#38 ordered approved on motion by Cartwright, seconded by Stenzinger.
<br />Torgerson Letter of July 27 from ~,ti.G. Torgerson, offering his resignation
<br />resigns from as a member of the Falcon Heights legislative committee, was read.
<br />legislative Stenzinger moved that the clerk be instructed to write ".Rr. Torgerson,
<br />committee stating that the council acted regretfully in accepting his
<br />resignation and wished to express thanks and appreciation for his
<br />services on the legislative committee. Cartwright seconded and
<br />motion carried unanimously.
<br />Kenneth TY;e P~ayor than asked for nominations for the vacancy on the legislative
<br />Hanson committee. Kenneth Hanson was nominated. There being no further
<br />appointed to nominations, Stenzinger moved the appointment of Kenneth Hanson to
<br />legislative membership on the legislative committee, Cartwright seconded and
<br />committee motion carried unanimously. The riayor then declared Kenneth Hanson
<br />duly appointed to office.
<br />Insurance on Letter of July 16 from Vim. Hite Insurance Agency, enclosing annual
<br />fire trucks renewals of the comprehensive automobile liability insurance policy
<br />covering the two fire trucks and the physical damage policy covering
<br />said trucks, was considered. Shavor moved that premium to July 25,
<br />1955 on the comprehensive auto liability, amounting to X280.60, and
<br />premium for same period on physical damage policy, for X61.25, be
<br />paid. Stenzinger seconded and motion carried unanimously.
<br />"Crossroads Letter of July 20, 1954 from the Ramsey County Playing Commission,
<br />Addition" enclosing print of the proposed platting of part of Lots 2l~,25, 30,
<br />31, 32, 33 and 3~ and all of Lots 26, 27, 28 and 29, Crossroads,
<br />in Falcon Heights, was read and noted. Ste~nart moved that said plat
<br />be referred to the Village Planning Commission for checking and
<br />recommendation, and that Trustee Shavor be appointed to meet with the
<br />Planning Commission in this connection. Stenzinger seconded and
<br />motion carried unanimously.
<br />Bills: On ^~otion by Stenzinger, seconded by Cartwright, the following
