<br />& bond charges National Bank of Saint Paul, covering premium, interest
<br />due 1st Nat1 Bank and bond charges due September 1, 1954, in the amount
<br />Sept 1, 1954 of X1,018.25 on Fire Equipment bonds and in the amount
<br />of X4,230.00 on Village Hall and Fire Station bonds,
<br />Stewart moved that payment of such charges be authorized.

<br />Traffic Signal at Glen Har3ung inquired as to whether the County would bear
<br />Farmers Union the expense for the stop and go sign installed on Larpenteur
<br />Grain Terminal near the Farmers Union Grain Terminal Office building,
<br />Mr. Har3ung was informed that Larpenteur Avenu® is a County
<br />road and that such signals are installed without council
<br />approval. It was agreed that the Public Safety committee
<br />should check to see if operation of the signal interferes
<br />with Village fire department operations.
<br />Speeding on Max Mayor, 1905 N. Snelling, stated he had not heard from
<br />Snelling avenue the Mayor regarding an inquiry about speeding traffic on
<br />Snelling avenue. The Mayor stated he had talked with
<br />State Highway engineers about the matter and was waiting
<br />information he had requested on an electrical device for
<br />controlling traffic now being tried out in southern Minnesota,
<br />This .and other automatic speed control devices were dis-
<br />cussed.
