Some discussion followed <br />but no action was taken. <br />Chsai~s The Clerk reported that a representative of IIyons Metal <br />Products Companry, of Minneapolis, had agreed to check on <br />chairs purchased from his Company to see what could be <br />done about rust spots appearing on some of them. <br />Requisitions In order that pertinent information regarding items on <br />requisitions may be made avAilable to the council, the <br />clerk asked that all requisitions be submitted to him <br />at least a week in advance of the meeting at which they <br />were to be acted upon. <br />Ad3ournments On motion, the meeting adjourned at 11:30 P.M. <br />erk <br />Approved: <br />Mayor <br />REGULAR MEETING, WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 8, 1954 <br />Meeting called to order at 7x40 P.M., with roll call recording the following council <br />members present: George J. Shavor, Acting Mayor; Andrew Hustrulid, Trustee; David <br />P. Cartwright, Trustee; Clyde Stewart, Clerk. Absent: Robert E. Stenzinger, Mayor. <br />William E. Olsen, Treasurer, and Frank N. Graham, ;Attorney, were present. <br />Minutes of August 25, 1954, were heard and approved as read. <br />League's 1954 Announcement of the 1954 series of regional meetings sponsored <br />Regional by the League of Minnesota Municipalities, was read. It was <br />meetings agreed that the Bayport meeting, to be held in the White Pine <br />Inn, September 24, 1954, would be the most convenient for those <br />wishing to attend from Falcon Heights. <br />Regn. #39 covering supplies needed by Fire Department. Cartwright moved <br />approval, seconded by Hustrulid and so ordered. <br />Bills: On motion by Hustrulid, seconded by Cartwright, the following <br />bills were ordered paid: <br />Minnesota Envelope Co., 500 printed envelopes,F.D., X6.83 <br />N.L. Splett, 3 Fire Dept. forms, 500 of each, 418.15 <br />Baden1s Puro Oil Service, gasoline, 8-lb ~ l~, X4.69 <br />Padwal Electric Co., repair fluoreseent fixtures, F.D., 411.00 <br />American Linen Supply Co., linen service, Aug., X6.55 <br />Vol. firemen, payroll, Aug., 4102.00 <br />
