50~ <br />1 <br />1 <br />Business Letter of September 15, 195, from the Department of <br />Development Business Developmen t, St Paul, was read. Stenzinger <br />moved that said letter be .ref erred to the Planning Commission <br />with authority to make reply, Seconded by Stewart and carried <br />unanimously. <br />Fuel oil After considering a number of bids secured by phone, the <br />Clerk was instructed to inform Thorne Coal and Oil Company <br />to continue to supply the Village Hall and Fire Station <br />with No. 2 fuel oil at 11.8¢ per gallon, on a month to month, <br />keep-fill basis. <br />Garske Attorney Graham reported on a proposed agreement submitted <br />agreemen t by attorneys for Mr. Garske for building a retaining wall <br />on Mgr. Garske's property. AZr. Graham said the proposed <br />agreement differed in a few respects from the original <br />agreement, one difference being provision for a retaining <br />wall on the east line of the property as well as on the <br />north side. Cartwright moved approval of the proposed <br />agreement subject to clearing of same with our attorney. <br />Stenzinger seconded and motion carried ~animously. <br />i~b~ <br />Tongue forceps In connection with justifying as first aid equipment <br />for our fire department the purchase of tongue forceps <br />as listed on Requisition #3$, letter from the Fire Chief <br />with list of hospitals and doctors who he said endorsed <br />the forceps method, was read. Stewart reported that <br />both first aid supply companies he had contacted regarding <br />the purchase of fo~c~~s~,stated these were rarely ~~ =6~pr <br />fire departments anc~` suggested getting the advice of doctors <br />before purchasing. After some discussion, Cartwright moved <br />that the forceps be purchased. Seconded by Stenzinger and <br />the following vote taken and recorded: <br />Ayes: Stenzinger <br />Shavor <br />Hustrulid <br />Cartwright <br />Stewart recorded as not voting.
