~i~ <br />Street lights- After discussing the question of providing. additional street <br />Maple Knoll lights, Cartwright moved that the Clerk be authorized to ask <br />Tatum Street the Power Company for estimate of cost and recommendation as <br />to number of street lights required for Maple Knoll and on <br />Tatum street, estimating costs for each area separately. <br />Seconded by Hustrulid and motion carried unanimously. <br />Catch. basmas Building Inspector Christensen reported that there was consider- <br />not covered, able caving in around dry wells in the Maine Knoll area and <br />caving around that catch ba~rhns ware not covered, creating an unsafe condition <br />dry wells, for children playing in the area. It was agreed that our attorney <br />Maple Knoll would write the developer regarding this matter. <br />Ad3ournment: On motion, the meeting ad3ourned at 11;15 P. Graham, Attorney. <br />Plan for It was agreed to dispenBe withthe regal ar order of business <br />improving in order to hear Engineer Carley~s report on the survey of <br />Fry Street and the proposed plan for improving Fry street. <br />Engr. Carley After completing the survey, 'r4r. Carley stated that he found <br />reports ~ the cost for rebuilding Fry street as proposed would be about <br /> the same on each side of the street. Said he estimated the <br /> cost of grading, graveling and stabiiizing Fry street from <br /> Larpenteur avenue to the south line of Clanp Thomsen Maple <br /> Knolladdition, including salvaeing material now in the road <br /> bed, at 4b6,900.00. This he said, was on the basis of. the <br /> total frontage of 2,117 feet, and that an assessment, if levidd~'. <br /> against the property fronting on this street would amount to <br /> $3.26 per front foot. <br />Presents plan Cdr. Carley then presen ted the proposed Fry street plan which he <br />and files same had prepared. at the request of our Planning Commission, An <br />with Clerk official copy of s~~~ plan was filed with the Clerk and will be <br /> available for public inspection. <br />
