526 <br />Maple Knoll streets- Street Commissioner Seaborn stated that unless the streets <br />National Tea alley in Maple Knoll were put in suitable condition, that the <br />County~s snow plowing equipment could not be used in this <br />area, He also reported on drainage problems in the alley <br />behind the National Tea store and other business properties <br />north of Larpenteur. <br />State Fair Hustrulid reported on meeting he had with Mr. Baldwin, <br />Board land Secretary of the State Fair Board, with respect to the <br />matter Board-s proposed use of land, especially on Larpenteur, <br />which the Board may acquire in exchange for groperty=>~a}hich <br />is being considered in connection with a proposed s~,~.dium <br />site in St Paul. Hustrulid said the matter of disposing of <br />drainage water was also discussed. <br />T.H. Fenske, <br />re Master street The clerk reported that Prof. T.H. Fenske, 1570 Vincent Ave., <br />plan. had inquired as to wh at the Village was doing with respect <br />to an overall street plan. Hustrulid will contact him regarding <br />the matter. <br />Policing The Mayor reported that the cost of Village policing for <br />the month of October, 1954, totaled ?294.21. Also brought <br />up for discussion was the proposal for having police reports <br />and pay periods correspond with the end of the month. It <br />was agreed that the Mayor refer the proposal to Don Arndt. <br />Judges, On motion by Shavor, seconded by Cartwright, it was <br />Village Election voted to approve appointment of the following election <br />judges to serve at the Village election, December 7, 1954: <br />Precinct #1 <br />Janet B. Otis <br />Ruth Martin <br />Frances Johnson <br />Precinct #2 <br />E. B. Rowley <br />Rhodie E.
