Stewart moved that 200 copies of said form <br /> be multilithed in duplicate. Shaver seconded and so ordered. <br />Sanitary Mr. Arndt J. Duvall, Municipal Engineer, of Toltz, King and <br />Sewer Day, Inc., Pioneer Building, St Paul, was introduced to members <br /> of the Council and to Lynn Mat±eson and Ralph Van Hoven, <br /> Legislative committee members who were present. Letter of <br /> March 17, 1955, from Toltz, King and Day, Inc., was read <br /> relative to engineering services they are in a position to <br /> offer in connection with the proposed study of sanitary server <br /> needs of Falcon Heights. Also read were the results of a <br /> telephone survey of residents of the Village conducted by the <br /> League of 1Vomen Voters of Falcon Heights to try and determine <br />League of horn many residents would or would not be interested in connecting <br />Women Voters to a sewage disposal system. The survey showed that 150 calls <br />telephone survey were made to residents in various parts of the Village with the <br /> following results: <br />111 yes <br />10 no <br />8 didn't know <br />19 when present system fails <br />2 depending on cost <br /> The League also reported that at least 25 per cent of those <br /> answering "yes" indicated they were doing so depending on costs. <br /> The Clerk also reported receipt of five letters from residents, <br /> all of whom were in favor of sanitary sewer. <br /> Sanitary server problems of the Villa ge were then discussed <br /> with Mr. Duvall, also related matters pertaining to his <br />Toltz, King & Company's engineering services for Edina in connection with <br />Day a point sewer connection for Edina and Richfield, with each <br /> suburb having their own engineering firm to represent them <br /> on all phases of the work, including a proper d~viisimn~.8fcdosta. <br /> In discussion that followed, Lynn Matteson and Ralph Van Hoven', <br /> Legislative committee members, both strongly recommended that the <br /> Village employ its own engineering firm .for making the proposed <br /> preliminary study and survey. As to reported requirements set <br />Huatrulid to up by St Paul; Cartwright moved that Trustee Hustrulid be appointed <br />contact St Paul to consult with St Paul City officials to ascertain what engineering <br />re engineering data St Paul would want in os~r to secure a sewer connection for <br />data needed. Falcon Heights. Seconded by Shavor and motion carried unanimously. <br />Thanks League Hustrulid moved that the Clerk write a letter to the League of <br />for Phone survey Women Voters of Falcon Heights, thanking them for their good <br /> work and cooperation in conducting the telephone survey they <br /> did on the sanitary sewer question. Seconded by Cartwright and <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br />Village sag The Clerk reported on the map of the Village being prepared <br />being prepared by the Village engineer. It was agreed that Trustee Shavor <br /> would cheek-with the Clerk on details which he felt the proposed <br /> map should include. <br /> <br />
