After discussion, Hustrulid moved <br />School Expense that the bill be paid excepting the group picture item for X1.75. <br /> Seconded by Shavor and motion carried unanimously. <br />Sound The Clerk reported phone call from Robert Butterworth, of Conoco <br />equipment stations, Binneapolis, that his Company planned to operate a <br />& truck truck with sound equipment, June 17 and 1$ or June 2!t and 25, <br />for adver- advertising the opening of anew service station at Lexington and <br />tising Ione. Asked if the council would have any objections to the <br /> operation of the sound equipment in Falcon Heights. The Clerk <br /> was asked to inform Mr. Butterworth that the council would prefer <br /> not to have the sound equipment operated in our Village. <br />Lyon Metal The Clerk reported that Mr. Cotant, of Lyon Metal Products Co., <br />Products Co. Minneapolis, phoned that the metal chairs purchased from their <br />chairs Company and which had rusted to some extent, would be picked <br /> up, refinished and returned to the Village without cost. <br />Lauderdale Shavor reported he had compiled data needed for requesting an <br />standby adjustment of Lauderdale's standby fire protection charge, <br />contract which he would forward to our attorney. <br />Juvenile Attorney Graham reported-that in accordance with the council's <br />cases request he had talked with Mr. PdcCourt, Clerk of Ramsey County <br /> Juvenile Court, who indicated he and Mr. Bernard Troje would <br /> be glad to meet and discuss Ramsey County Juvenile Court and <br /> its operations with a group from Falcon Heights. It was <br /> suggested that an inf ormal meeting be arranged for this purpose <br /> with the council and public safety commission members present. <br />Meeting It being 11 P.P,~., Cartwright moved that the meeting be extended <br />extended to complete unfinished business. Hustrulid seconded and motion <br /> carried. <br />Skating rink Cartwright reported that the skating rink planks had been pulled <br />planks up at the school grounds, and that it was desired to treat the <br />planks with oil or other preservative and store same a~"the fire <br />station. Stewart moved that Cartwright be authorized to secure <br />the necessary preservative for the planks and for storing at the <br />fire station. Seconded by Hustrulid and motion carried un- <br />animously. <br />Harry _ The Clerk reported that he had discussed with the Secre~~~ry of <br />Anderson Falcon Heights Fire Department a proposal to prepare a cut of <br />picture the late Harry Anderson with summary of his civic record and <br />or plaque service in organizing fire departments in Rose Township .and Falcon <br />Heights for use in connection with the new Falcon Heights Fire <br />Department manual.
