591. <br />Lauderdale Shavor reported that he and Mayor Stenzinger met at the Village <br />Standby Hall with two members of Lauderdale's Village council,, and that <br />contract agreement was not reached as to the proposed fire protection <br />discussion charges. Said that Lauderdale's representatives indicated they <br /> wished to check with other communities, and that they would <br /> submit to the Lauderdale Village council our committee's <br /> $200 standby charge and X100 per hour fire run proposal. <br />Village Hall Assembly Hustrulid moved that advertising for bids for remo~~ling the <br />room improvements Village assembly room be postponed. Seconded by Stenzinger <br />postponed. and motion carried unanimously. <br />Liquor store, Attorney Graham reported on an application before the City <br />Hamline & Larp. Council of St Paul to establish a liquor store at the southeast <br />corner of Hamline and Larpenteur, also that the Attorney General's <br />opinion which the Village had secured in this connection, had been <br />questioned by the applicant's attorney. <br />Tree A proposed tree trimming ordinance was read and some corrections <br />Trimming fiv~re ordered. It was agreed that such work should be supervised <br />ordinance b;,r the Villa ge Engineer and that records of assessment of the <br />proposed cost be kept by him.
