Aso <br />Associated Investors' George Anderson, Secretary of Associated Investors, Inc., reported <br />petition that shortly after the meeting with the homeowners on the <br /> associated Investors' rezoning petition, that his firm was <br /> advised by Mr. TrYilensky.that the Associated Investors could <br /> no longer represent the property owned by the.d'Vilensky interests. <br /> Mr. Anderson then read a letter from Nilensky's representative, <br /> requesting that the fence in front of the Vt'ilensky property be <br /> re-installed. Anderson said that the recommendation of our <br /> Planning Commission to meet with the homeowners regarding a plan <br /> for rezoning the property has not worked out. He said the <br /> Planning Commission should. be asked to take some definite action <br /> in the matter so the Associated Investors will know where they <br /> are at. After discussion, Cartwright moved that the Planning <br /> Commission be requested to hold a meeting with representatives <br />Biz property reprs. of the Associated Investors, Inc., representatives of the ~Vilensky <br />& Citizen's reprs. interests and representatives of the Citizens Committee for the <br />to meet. purpose of making a definite recommendation on the rezoning <br /> petition of Associated Investors, Inc,, dated May 6, 1965, and <br /> that it would be desirable to hold the meeting so that the <br /> Commission's recommendation can be submitted at the next council <br /> meeting to be held July 13. Seconded by Shavor and motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br />Public S.D. Bumgardner, Chairman, Public Safety Commission, presented <br />Safety recommendations of the Commission made at their June 21 meeting, <br />the council acting on same in the following manner: <br />1, That the Commission hold a meeting the latter part of June <br />Juvenile matters to discuss juvenile matters. Shavor moved approval, Seconded <br />by Cartwright and motion carried. <br /> 3. That the total policing time for all officers be 4!~ hours <br />total policing per week, except in emergencies. Hustrulid moved that the <br />time per week present policing system be continued, including three officers <br /> for a total of 1t1~ hours per week fo;.said officers. Seconded <br /> by Cartwright and motion,carried unanimously., <br /> 2. That an additional police officer with at least two years <br />James '~~a11~r, police experience within the last four years be hired to patrol <br />hired the area during daytime from 10 A.Bf:. to 6:00 P.M. (2 days). <br /> Cartwright moved that James '~ti`aller be hired as a part-time <br /> police officer at the same rate as other officers for duty as <br /> recommended. Seconded 'oy i~ustrulid and motion carried unanimously. <br /> Lt. That the snow fence if installed next to Applebaum's store <br />No action on will be a traffic hazard and that the Council should take some <br />fence action to prevent this if possible. On advice of the Village <br /> attorney, the council took no action in the matter. <br />Sanitary sewer Hustrulid reported that Mr. Duvall said the planning had been <br /> turned over to one of his men who was ill until recently, <br /> and that they are proceeding with plans for the preliminary <br /> survey on the assumption that none of the university's land <br /> will be included. <br /> <br />
