598 <br />Associated. Investors - Several west Idaho residents and their attorney, <br />John Yyallace, of St Paul, appeared. before the council <br />Citizens protest to protest the grading and blacktopping of the <br />grading ~ black- Assoeiated Investors, Inc. property located behind <br />topping Tract 2. the business block south of Larpenteur. <br />Fred Rahn, Chairman of the Citizens group, asked in connection <br />1525 TtVest Iowa with the proposed shopping center on the southeast <br />corner of Larpenteur and Snelling about the flow of <br />traffic and if this would come out on Arona. <br />Frank P. Conney, said tfie^construction~of double~bunga3ows on :Tract 2 <br />1531 Idaho Ave. '~iest would meet with the approval of all residents in the <br />area. A~Ir. Conney stated that the blacktopping of <br />this tract would reduce ground seepage and force <br />drainage water onto his and other nearby properties. <br />The parking difficulty, he said, could be eliminated <br />by putting up a fence, <br />i~rs.
