sip <br />C~ <br />1 <br />Insurance- The Clerk reported that the League of ?~.~innesota ~~unicipalities <br />fire trucks had no printed matter on insurance coverage provided. by other <br />communities on their fire trucks. Also reported discussing <br />the matter with Lynn P~~~atteson who asked to be heard at the <br />September 28, 1955 meetong on the question of collision insurance. <br />Meeting It being 11 P.~"., Cartwright moved that the m-~eting be extended <br />extended to complete unfinished bus-mess. Seconded by Stewart and motion <br /> carried. <br />Fire Dept. Hustrulid presented a revised schedule of working hours for the <br />work schedule three raid firemen. He said it was the same as the schedule <br />revised proposed by the Fire Chief in his letter of Au~-ust 31, 1955, <br /> except that the revised schedule provides for an eight hour <br /> overlap each week for each fireman. It was pointed out that <br /> Fire. Chief Swanson schedule did not contain this provision <br /> contrary to the council's instructions of August 2l~, 1955 as <br /> conveyed to him by 1 etter. Hustrulid said the revised schedule <br /> repeats itself .every ?three weeks and is uniform for each Maid <br /> fireman. The revised. schedule was then discussed with the Fire <br /> Chief. <br />Revised Hustrulid then moved that the revised schedule covering working <br />schedule hours of the three paid firemen. be adopted. Seconded by Cartwright <br />adopted and carried unanimously.. <br />No Hustrulid moved that (1) there be no deviation from t:he adopted <br />deviations war k schedule, including exchanging watch schedule except by <br />council permission, illness or family emergency and (2) that <br />the man on the 8-hour overlap will take care of outside station <br />duties, such as inspections. Seconded by Stewart and motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Fire Chief. Fire Chief Swanson then asked for permission to deviate from <br />requests the work schedule in order to work three days for Fireman Slama <br />deviation who had done the same for him.
