s~ <br />Ordinance No. 36 A proposed tree trimming ordinance was read and discussed. <br />Shavor then moved adoption of ORDINANCE N0. 36, AN ORDINANCE <br />Tree PROVIDING FOR THE TRIMMING AND CARE OF TREES AND THE RE~[OVAL <br />Trimming OF UNSOUND TREES AND THE COLLECTION OF THE COSTS OF SUCH <br />WORK AS A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AGAINST PROPERTY BENEFITED: AND <br />PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION. Seconded by Cartwright <br />and the following vote taken and recorded: <br />Ayes: Shavor, Hustrulid, Cartwright, Stewart <br />Nays: None <br />Acting Mayor Shavor declared Ordinance No._36 adopted by a <br />unanimous vote and ordered publication of same. <br />Sanitary Sewer - Letter of September 15, 1955 from the Village of Roseville <br />Roseville was read, relative to their sewer program. In connection <br />with the question of our being included in their sewer <br />program and meeting with the Roseville council in this <br />respect, it was agreed to refer the matter to our engineers, <br />Toltz, King & Day, Inc., for study and recommendation. <br />Warming house Cartwright reported on talking with School Superintendent <br />for School skating Williams about a warming house at the Falcon Heights grade <br />rink school. He said the School is interested but has no funds <br />for assisting in such purchase. Cartwright also reported <br />on estimated delivered coats of metal warming houses; one, <br />12x20, for ~577•~, another, 12x2lt, X603.00. Knock-down <br />type of warming house was also discussed and Hustrulid <br />will check and report on these later. Shavor said he had <br />talked with some community club members about providing <br />a warming house and that plans are to revive the matter <br />at a future meeting of community club members. <br />Budget It was agreed that the Clerk should ask Treasurer Olsen <br />to prepare and submit his budget recommendations at our <br />next meeting. <br />Drainage - Shavor reported on the drainage matter referred to in <br />Albert J. Helbig Mr. Albert J. Helbig~s letter as read at the September 1!t <br />15-~7 W. Idaho meeting. Shavor said he discussed the matter wi th Mr. <br />Helbig who reported he had no problem at present since <br />air conditioning at the shopping center has been discontinued. <br />Agreement xas reached with Mr. Helbig that if the same <br />condition occurs next year, we will investigate the matter <br />at that time. <br />League meeting, It was agreed that the council, treasurer and attorney <br />South St Paul would attend the regional meeting sponsored by the League <br />of Minnesota Municipalities at South St Paul the evening <br />of October 12, 1955, and that reservations should be made <br />accordingly. <br />Regular meeting Shavor then moved that the regular meeting of the council <br />October 12, 1955 scheduled for Wednesday evening, October 12, 1955, because <br />cancelled of conflict in-dates with the League-sponsored meeting at South <br />St Paul be dispensed with. Seconded by Stewart and motion <br />carried. <br />Special meeting, After discussion, Shavor moved that a special meeting to <br />October 11, 1955 <br />
