si, <br />SPECIAL MEETING, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11, 1955 <br />Meeting called to order at 7:l~.0 P.M., the following council members <br />being present: George J. Shavor, Acting Mayor; Andrew Hustrulid, <br />Trustee; David P. Cartwright, Trustee; Clyde J. Stewar t, Clerk. <br />Absent: Rober t E. Stenzinger, Mayor, and Frank N. Graham, Attorney. <br />Also present: William E. Olsen, Treasurer. <br />The minutes of September 28, 1955 regular meeting were heard and <br />correctei to r ead, on page 616, "Tuesday, October 11, 1955," instead <br />of Wednesday, October 11, 1955. The minutes were then approved. as <br />corrected. <br />Insurance- William H. Hite appeared before the council and <br />Fire trucks - reported on our present fire truck insurance <br /> coverage, aodd indicated that the only additional <br /> coverage we would get from comprehensive would be <br /> protection against a falling object and glass <br /> breakage for which the additional~YrYemium would. <br /> be X40.00. In view of this, Cartwright moved <br /> that we do not add to insurance coverage on our <br /> trucks as the present coverage is adequate. <br /> Seconded by Hustrulid add. carried unanimously. <br />Divulging Fire Department Order #34, dated October 3, 1955, <br />Fire Dept. or <br />Police Dept. issued by the Fire Chief, relating to divulging <br />of Fire Department add Police Department records, <br />records was read. After discussion, Cartwright moved that <br /> a directive be issued to the effect that information <br /> on Fire Department records should iZet be c~i~aulged <br /> to the public except by approval of the Fire Chief <br /> or Village Council, and that information from the <br /> Police log shall not be divulged or made public <br /> except by authority of the Public Safety Supervisor <br />' or the Village Council, and that copies of this <br />' directive be sent to the Fire Chief, Public Safety <br /> Supervisor and all concerned. Seconded by Hustrulid <br /> and carried unanimously. <br />Heating & Gas Inspector Elwood Larson's letter of September <br />Air Condi timi ng 30, 1955, was read relative to requiring all master <br />Examination gas installers to furnish certificates of competency <br />Board from the Heating egad Air Conditioning ~camination <br /> Board • of Minnesota before ggas permits are issued. <br /> Also letter of Sept ember 26, 1955 from Herman A. <br /> Zemke,. Village Clerk, North St Paul, regarding the <br /> same matter. The.
