623 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1956 Budget BE IT RESOLVED, By the Village Council of the Village <br />(continued) of Falcon Heights, that the following sums be and they hereby <br />are levied upon the taxable property of the Village of Falcon <br />Heights for the year 1955, collectible in the year 195bs <br />General Fund X9,200.00 <br />Street & Bridge Fund 10,000.00 <br />Fire Maintenance Fund 14,250,00 <br />Public Safety Fund 1,800.OQ <br />Firemen's Relief Association 1/2 of one mill <br />Meeting time It being 11 P.M., Cartwright moved that the meeting be <br />extended extended in order to complete unfinished business. Seconded <br />by Shavor and so ordered. <br />Ordinance No. 37 A proposed ordinance amending Ordinance No. 31 was read. <br />Hustrulid then mooed adoption of ORDINANCE N0. 37, AN <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 31 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE <br />PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT AND GOVERNMENT OF A VOLUNTEER <br />FIRE DEPARTMENT AND PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCE <br />N0. 1 PASSED MAY 11, 1949" HY REPEALING SECTIONS 9, 10 and <br />11 THEREOF. Seconded by Cartwright. <br />Previous question After considerable discussion, Shavor moved the previous <br />question. Seconded by Cartwright and motion carried by <br />a 4/5 vote, Stenzinger recorded as voting 'No.' <br />Adoption of The question was then called for with reference to adoption <br />Ordinance No. 37 of Ordinance No. 37, and the following vote taken and <br />recorded: <br />Ayes: Shavor, Hustrulid, Cartwright, Stewart <br />Nays: Stenzinger <br />Ordinance No. 37 was declared adopted by a 4/5 vote and <br />-its publication ordered. <br />Apartment ordered Referring to a motion recorded in the minutes of July 13, 1955, <br />vacated by Fire that the Fire Chief vacate the apartment, action wn which was <br />Chief deferred to see if the new work schedule would improve unsatis- <br />factory conditions within tie Fire Department, Stewart moved <br />that George Swanson be given notice to vacate the apartment in <br />the Village Hall as of December 1, 1955.
