sus <br />Complaint - The Mayor reported on complain to received from neighbors in <br />dogs, 1853 the vicinity of 1853 Simpson because of the owner's dogs. <br />Simpson After discussion, Utecht moved that Don Arndt call on the <br />owner at 1853 Simpson about the disturbance his dogs are <br />causing in the neighborhood, with the idea of securing the <br />facts and reporting same to the council. Seconded by Stewart <br />and motion carried unanimously. <br />Snow in The Mayor reported receiving a complaint from Mr Blomberg <br />front of regarding snow that is piled up by the plow in front of <br />Blomberg store the Blomberg Store. After discussion, Street Commissioner <br />Nick Christensen said he would check into the matter. <br />Plow The Mayor asked if alleys could be plowed at the same time <br />alleys show plowing is done on the streets, with the understanding <br />that the cost of plowing the alleys would be paid for by <br />the owners of adjoining property. After some discussion, <br />it was agreed that Nick Christensen would check with the <br />County and report back on this. <br />Constable Attorney Graham reported on his exchange of correspondence <br />fees with Constable George Swanson regarding constable fees. <br />Also a letter was read addressed to the Mayor by Constable <br />Swanson, requesting that S~+ranson's services as constable <br />be paid for one the same basis as a Village police officer. <br />After discussion, Utecht moved that Swanson's letter of <br />January l~, 1956 be referred to our Police Survey Committee <br />for study and recommendation, and that Constable Swanson be <br />so advised. Seconded by Cartwright and motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mrs. Maxson's The Clerk reported on a complaint from Mrs. Maxson, 1387 <br />complaint West Idaho, regarding snow piled up by the platy at the <br />entrance of their alley on Albert, Mrs: Maxsnnsstating <br />this formed ice and a large bump on which they broke the <br />exhaust pipe of their car. Nick Christensen will check <br />into the matter. <br />Insurance covers Letter was read from H. & Val J. Rothschild, Inc., advising <br />maintenance ~ that our public liability and property damage insurance <br />supervision of provides coverage for the Village in connection wilDh the <br />skating rink maintenance and supervision of the skating rink. <br /> Klatt's Cartwright reported that Mr. Klatt phoned him with reference <br /> Addition - to the Village accepting the streets in Klatt's addition <br /> bond released acid release of the bond. After discussion, Cartwright <br /> moved that the Clerk write Mr. Klatt that said streets have <br /> been accepted for maintenance by the Village and that the <br /> bond has been ordered released. Seconded by Stewart and <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> Shell Station Cartwright reported being advised that the new operator <br /> hours of of the Shell Station at 1.07 Larpenteur Avenue Pest, <br /> operation Carroll Nelson, was not conforming with hours of operation <br /> as required by the licensing of the station. The Clerk <br /> was asked to write Mr. Nelson, stating that the license <br /> was issued on the basis of hours of operation named in the <br /> application and that he is not authorized to operate the station <br /> later than these hours. <br />
