6~J Financial In connection with preparing the Village financil statement statement for the year ended December 31, 1955, Shavor moved that the Clerk be authorized to arrange for assistance on the same basis as last year, and for publishing said financial statement in The Rose Tribune. Seconded by Cartwright and motion carried unanimously. Treasurer's Shavor moved, seconded by Nilsen, that the Treasurer's bond _- ~ Bond be fixed at X1000, and that the Treasurer be directed to secure said bond on a two-year basis. Gage, of the Gage Construction Company, Minneapolis, (Gage Constr.Co.) submitted the final plat of Falcon Woods subdivie~on for ~ (=i na I laf council approval. Letter of January 10, 1956 from the p • Planning Commission was read, recommending a minimum radius of 10 ft. at street intersections, and that since the area of each of Lots !t and 5 of Block 2 and lots 3 and !~ of Block 3 , is greater than required, that a frontage of less than 75 ft. minimum per lot should be permitted. After discussion Shavor moved acceptance, of the final plat of Falcon Woods and that the Clerk be authorized to execute said plat for the Village, sub3ect to obtaining the approval of Lorris Williams, Chairman, Planning Commission, and the delivery to the Village of a bond in the amount of ~lt,000.00, approved by the Village attorney, to secure the completion by December 31, 1956, of the making, installations grading and improvement of all streets shown on the said plat (except the portion of Prior Avenue, approximately 115 feet hereinafter referred to) in accordance with the Village specifications,sub3ect to the approval of the Village Engineer and the delivery to the Village of the sum of $350.00, to be held by the Village for the installs tion, grading and improvement of the approximately 115 feet of Prior. Avenue shown on the said plat, which shall be done by the Villa ge at the time when the property south of Falcon Woods is opened up. Nilsen seconded and motion carried unanimously. Street The Clerk s~~i~ that the County reported following ov Mileage oonference with our Village r~gineer that Falcon Heights revised street mileage as of December 2, 1955, is 8.18 miles. Additions to former street mileage include Albert Street, from Ruggles to Roselawn, .12 miles; and Ruggles Street, from Holton Avenue to Hemline Avenue, 0.19 miles. Complaint re Cartwright reported on receiving complaints from citizens renting rooms with respect to owner of property at northeast corner of Albert and Hoyt renting rooms to students whose cars are all parked in the area at one time. After discussing whether the Village could take any action, Cartwright agreed to check and report further on the matter.
