<br /> permit be denied and that the Clerk so advise the Midway Sign

<br /> Availability of The Clerk reported on phoning the County assessor regarding
<br /> books on personal our le tter of March 29, 1956, asking if the personal property
<br /> property and and real estate books for Falcon Heights could be made
<br /> real estate available to the council between June 1 and July 15. The
<br /> assessments County assessor said that while no communities in Ramsey County
<br /> had held Board of Review meetings for some time, that the assessor's
<br /> office would be glad to make the books available and would let. us
<br /> know when the books are ready for inspection.
<br /> Stairway door Regarding poor condition of the stairway door at the west side
<br /> of the Village Hall, Shavor moved that the Clerk secure two
<br /> or three bid~n a new door for the stairway opening. Seconded
<br /> by Utecht and motion carried unanimously.
<br /> Village Hall The proposed widening of the drive to the parking area at
<br /> drivcaray the Village Hall and difficulty of getting sufficient fill
<br /> for this purpose, were discussed. It was agreed to postpone
<br /> widening of the drive until we can secure enough fill to
<br /> complete the project..
<br />Light truck The matter of securing a smell. truck as recommended by Village
<br />for street Engineer Carley for limited emergencies, such as filling holes
<br />work proposed. in streets, was discussed. It was agreed to ask Trustee Nilsen
<br />to check into the matter and report at a later meeting.
