He said the catch basinz and drain <br />are plugged up with dirk. Said these should be cleaned out and <br />grade established. For surfacing he recommended putting in gravel <br />~;~and mixing the gravel with oil. Question as to posting so as to <br />keep trucks off this part of Crawford was referred to the <br />Village attorney for checking. <br />Trustee Nilsen reported receiving a call from John Ringus, <br />1367 Larpenteur Avenue West, regarding surfacing of the <br />alley in his block. Engineer Ljungren estimated the cost~.q~. <br />at about $100.00 q `` <br />Tree trimming The Mayor reported that a tree trimmer he talked with <br />suggested that trimming of trees on Village boulevards could <br />be done efficiently starting about October 15, eliminating <br />those trees that do not require trimming. The attorney was <br />asked to check and report back at the next meeting as to <br />proper procedure. <br />Property fronting The Mayor repo~te~i that he and Trustee Shavor had reached <br />on Arona between agreement on~h` `r~um~kier of matters pertaining to the .improvement <br />Idaho and of the property fronting on Arona between Idaho and Larpenteur <br />Larpenteur avenues. Based on this understanding with Mr. Stepnitz, it <br />was agreed to outline the requests in the form of a letter <br />to the owner of the property, each council member and the <br />attorney to receive a copy of the proposed letter so that <br />corrections or additions may be made before .putting the <br />letter in final form. <br />Adjournment: On motion, the meeting ad3ourned at 12 midnite. <br />Cl k <br />Approved: <br />I <br />~~ <br /> <br />
