X25 'Right Turn Only' the State Planning and Traffic Director, requesting that signs "Right Turn Only" signs be installed on Larpenteur coming off the four service lands at Snelling, and that they consider the possibility of placing sidewalks across Snelling Avenue to permit pedestrian traffic to cross Snelling safely at Larpenteur Avenue. Seconded by Cartwright and motion carried unanimously. Extend Idaho Ave. Stewart moved that the proposal to extend Idaho avenue to to SnellingA~enrre.. the northbound lane of Snelling Avenue be referred to Public Safety Supervisor Don Arndt and Trustee Nilsen for study and recommendation. Agreed that a letter should be written to D,4r. Lawrence, stating that our Fire Chief reports the tanks will be secured as suggested as soon as permanent location for them is decided on. St Paul City Clerk Letter of September 27, 1956 was read from the City Clerk, letter re sewer St Paul, enclosing copy of Ordinance No. 10829, passed by connection the St Paul City Council, September 1l~,-1956, granting permission to Falcon Heights to connect to the St Paul sewer system, and calling attention to the ordinance section requiring the Vill~.ge to adopt an acceptance ordinance within 60 days from the effective date of the St Paul ordinance.
