s~~ <br />REGULAR MEETING, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 26, 1956 <br />(Minutes recorded by Frank N. Graham) <br />Meeting called to order at 7:35 P.M. Following council members <br />were present: William R. Utecht, Mayor; David P. Cartwright, <br />Trustee; Harold C. Nilsen, Trustee; George J. Shavor, Trustee. <br />Also present: William E. Olsen, Treasurer; Frank N. Graham, <br />Attorney, and Willis Warkentien, newly elected Trustee. Absent: <br />Clyde J. Stewart, Clerk. <br />Minutes of the December 12, 1956 Village Council meeting were read <br />and approved. <br />The following citizens appeared before the council: <br />.Falcon Ray Garcia, 1906 North Prior Avenue, appeared and <br />Woods stated that although a petition had been circulated <br />Sewer among Falcon Woods home owners requesting that the <br /> proposed sewer not be extended to the Falcon Woods <br /> area, approximately 8 to 10 of 2~+ owners in this <br /> area want the sewer and it had been determined by <br /> the owners who do not wish the sewer at this time <br /> that they would not oppose the installation of this <br /> sewer in Falcon Woods. The petition was therefore <br /> not submitted to the Council. <br /> Ralph G. Strutzel submitted a petition signed by 8 <br /> ners in the Falcon Woods area requesting the <br /> installation of the sewer in that area. <br />Robert Rudd, 1915 Prior Avenue, raised questions as <br />to whether there would be any limitation on the use <br />of the sewer for garbage disposal or home air con- <br />ditioning units. He was informed that no restrictions <br />of this type were contemplated at this time. <br />Grudem Mrs. Christina Keller appeared before the Council and <br />Building, asked if a report had been received from the Planning <br />1790 West Commission pursuant to the hearing on the Grudem vari- <br />Larpenteur ante request. She was informed that no recommendation <br />of the Planning Commission had been received b.y the <br />Council. <br />Fire Chief Earl W. Grumke appeared before the Council and <br />Department submitted letters covering the following matters: <br />Matters <br />1. The Fire Department's electric clock has stopped <br />running. Upon motion by Trustee Shavor, seconded <br />by Cartwright and unanimously carried, Mr. Grumke was <br />authorized to order and install a new motor. <br />2. Mr. Grumke submitted a second letter setting out <br />the work which has been done on the tank truck and <br />asking whether the Council has found out from Civil <br />Defense if any of the equipment requested is available <br />
