Seconded by Shavor and. motion carried <br />unanimously. . <br />Dogs Further complaints regarding dogs annpying children at the <br />Falcon Heights School, were discussed. It xas agreed that <br />our Village police should check on the ownership of the <br />dogs and inform the owners of their responsibility under <br />the ordinance. Trustee Warkentien xill advise Police <br />Commissioner Arndt-accordingly. <br />Ordinance No. !t2 After dissuasion, Utecht moved adoption of Ordinance No. lt2, <br />(Curfew) AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PRESENCE OF MINORS UNDER THE <br />AGE OF 16 YEARS ON THE STREETS OR IN PUBLIC PLACES AT CERTAIN <br />HOURS, DEFIDTING THE DUTIES 0~'PARENTS AND OTHERS IN THE CARE <br />OF MINORS AND PROVIDING FOR•PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF. <br />Seconded by Shavor and the following vote taken and recorded: <br />Adopted Ayes: Utecht, Shavor, Nilsen, Warkentien, Stewart <br />Nays: None <br />The Mayor then declared Ordinance No. 2t2 adopted by a <br />unanimous vote and ordered publication of same in The <br />Rose Tribune of January 31, 1957. <br />Gas tax Trustee Shavor reported on the meeting of village and <br />legislation township officers from suburban Ramsey County, xhich was <br />proposed called by Mayor Ashbach, of Arden Hills, and held. January <br />15, 1957, in the Roseville Village Hall, for the purpose <br />of discussing the allocation of highway users' funds under <br />the recently passed Amendment No. 2,rto~=municipalities <br />under 5,000 population. He said it xas voted unanimously <br />that special legislation be sponsored for Ramsey County <br />that xould (1) retain the present legislation providing <br />for the distribution of X60,000 to municipalities in Ramsey <br />County; (2) permit distribution of 3/29 of the count~~s'share <br />under the near amendment to municipalities under 5,000 <br />in cash instead of in work by the county; (3) Authorize <br />the County to maintain present county roads in villages <br />under 5,000 and to maintain the traveled center strip in <br />villages over 5,000. Trustee Shavor also reported that <br />a committee was appointed to prepare a formula for <br />distribution of the new funds and discuss the plan with <br />the Board of County Commissioners for presentation at the <br />next meeting February 27, 1957. <br />
