Fire Equipment Co., Gorman Rupp portable pump, <br />2 red lites and suction hose,~Zt53.00 <br />Rysgaard Contracting Co., painting & lettering tank truck, :300.00 <br />11 <br />Shell Service Warkentien reported on complaints received regarding cluster <br />Station complaints lights at the Shell Service station turned so as to shine onto <br />the streets. Said he talked with !fir. Adams, the Shell Oil <br />Company's district manager in St Paul, who seemed to know nothing <br />about this. After discussion, Warkentien was asked to check into <br />the matter further, including previous complaints, and report <br />back to the council. <br />Condition of Junked appearance of the 1 of immediately north of the Shell <br />lots station, also of the lot three or four houses south of Garden <br />on Hamline Avenue, was discussed.. Shavor will check into and <br />report back on these matters. <br />Patching Nilsen reported that the Vill age streets should be patched <br />Streets as directed by the Village Engineer. Stewart moved that the <br />ordered necessary work order be placed with the County. Seconded by <br />Utecht and motion carried unanimously. <br />Tree The trimming of trees on Larpenteur Aver ue Ras discussed. <br />trimming It was agreed that the work on Larpenteur should be completed, <br />and then because of the sap coming up into the trees that the <br />project be postponed for a while. <br />Alley maintenance V.L. Ljungren, of our Village Engineers, was asked to check <br />matter the alley opening on Albert and Pascal between Iowa and Idaho <br />Avenues, to see if the alley meets the specifications required <br />for maintenance by the Village. <br />1 <br />Plans and Mr. Steffes submitted plans and specifications for constructionof <br />Specifications, the Sanitary Sewer System Improvement No. I, Part I, reviearipg <br />Sanitary Sevrer especially the estimated construction costs. The matter of <br /> widening Tatum Street from 2!~ feet to 32 feet was agreed on, <br /> and Mr. Steffes said the plans would be changed accordingly. <br />Borings on After discussion, Warkentien moved that the Village Engineer <br />Arona between be authorized to make the necessary borings on Arona Avenue <br />Larpenteur & between Larpenteur Atirenue and Crawford Street to determine the <br />Crawford type of stabilization required for permanent road repair. <br /> Seconded by Nilsen and motion carried unanimously. <br />
